Gay travel tips for Aruba: One Happy Island

Clean, vast, with unbelievably clear waters, Aruba's beaches are undoubtedly its biggest tourist draw. Palm Beach, near the high-rise hotels is perhaps the most beautiful, but Eagle Beach, near the low-rise hotels, has the most gay sunbathers, especially near the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort.

This resort by the way, and the Hyatt Regency, are both favorites with gay vacationers. For a superior culinary experience in a gay-friendly environment, try Boonoonoonoos, Gasparito Restaurant and Art Gallery and the Old Cunucu House, all of which specialize in pan-Caribbean cuisine.

After dinner, stop by Jimmy's Place, a Dutch-flavored, gay-friendly watering hole. Or, you can always swing by the flashy casinos, the most popular of which include the Royal Cabana, the Alhambra, the Stellaris and the Crystal Casino. Yes, Aruba is gay friendly. You may want to look into the Mill Resort which is very gay friendly they even have a gay bar on premises.
