Why is my sim gay

So I have story progression, master controller, woohooer, and overwatch, I know about the ratio for gay Sims in general flirt options and the chance for an undecided Sims to roll gay or bi once again up into a teen.

But it seems like every Sims already in the world is now by default straight, I cannot why is my sim gay any gay sims for my sims fabulous younger brother and he's lonely! He wants love! What do I do? Is there another mod I can get to make a certain percent of the single Sims in town's gender preference gay or lesbian?

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic. Once they start having positive or negative romantic interactions, either on or off screen, most sims start gravitating towards one gender or the other or both on the two scores and if they aren't bi both scores positive it can take much more effort to "sway" them the other way, so to speak.

SP offers options to skew the default prefs when a sim is first spawned into the world or once they become of age. And you can get an overall report on where all sims in town fall on the spectrum to see if there really are no LGBTs in your world or if they are already partnered or just hiding out on you.

In one world I played, long ago before I got a handle on the SP and MC tools to work with these things myself, I had to travel some sims to other worlds to find romance and love because yes it did seem like there was never going to be anyone suitable in their homeworld for them to date.
